The 2024 Midwinter Meeting provides dental professionals with access to best-in-class continuing education opportunities and cutting-edge dental products and innovations

The Chicago Dental Society (CDS) announced today that registration is now open for its 2024 Midwinter Meeting. The premier dental meeting, which attracts tens of thousands of attendees from around the globe, will be held at McCormick Place West in Chicago from February 22 – 24, 2024.

“The 2024 Midwinter Meeting will deliver one of the most robust scientific programs ever assembled at the annual event,” said CDS President-Elect, Dr. David Lewis Jr. “The Chicago Dental Society team has done an excellent job scouting, vetting and hand-picking a roster of more than 120 renowned clinicians and leaders in dental education to deliver hundreds of CE-accredited courses spanning a variety of topics directly to attendees under one roof.”

Over its 159-year history, the Midwinter Meeting has cultivated a reputation for attracting dentistry’s best speakers from across the country. The 2024 Midwinter Meeting will provide attendees with more than 230 CE-accredited courses, including 40 interactive, hands-on workshops, led by the best educators in the field. The February meeting will be a one-stop shop for the best-in-class continuing education opportunities to provide dentists, hygienists and every member of the dental team with the latest practice management solutions and evidence-based clinical knowledge. Attendees can register and purchase courses on an a la carte basis, and, as an exclusive CDS member benefit, CDS members and their dental teams are eligible for a lecture package at a discounted rate per person for $275 in November and December and $290 in January.

Additionally, the 2024 Midwinter Meeting will host more than 400 exhibitors, from new, up-and-coming companies to recognizable industry staples in a more than 220,000-square foot Exhibit Hall. The latest dental products, technologies and innovations will be debuted, offering dentists and their teams the opportunity to test products and make critical purchasing decisions for their practices.

“The Exhibit Hall is always buzzing with energy as attendees marvel at the cutting-edge innovations,” said Dr. Lewis. “There is always something new and exciting on the exhibit floor, and you never know what novel innovation is just around the corner. It could be something your office uses to improve patient care or optimize your practice management processes for years to come.”

Midwinter Meeting-exclusive events will once again provide fun networking experiences, including the Keynote Session with television personality and actor Geoffrey Baer, the renamed Sips, Suds & Sales happy hour, the new Yoga for Midwinter Mindfulness, the President’s Dinner Dance and dedicated networking receptions for new dentists and dental students. In addition to planned Midwinter Meeting-exclusive events, general networking opportunities will happen onsite throughout the Midwinter Meeting and across the beautiful City of Chicago.

“The Chicago Dental Society Board of Directors, Dr. Lewis and his Midwinter Meeting co-chairs, Drs. David Williams and Yendis Gibson, have poured a tremendous amount of time, care and effort into planning the 2024 Midwinter Meeting,” said Executive Director of the Chicago Dental Society Heather Nash. “The February event will feature the best continuing education opportunities available, an impressive collection of exhibitors to connect with and a variety of networking events for attendees to expand their networks. I look forward to seeing their vision come together for tens of thousands of attendees to enjoy in February.”
